South Dakota Voices Response: Will, thank you for sharing this information. It is extremely helpful.

Chat comment from WB: "One year ago last September, after several days of chemtrails over the Black Hills, I drove home from Rapid City to my place south of Pringle. I waited in Hill City for a hail storm to pass. Between Pringle and my turn off near Argyle there was so much hail the snow plows were out. I pulled over and put hail in a water bottle. I took the hail when I got home and put it in a mason jar. I had the mason jar water tested in Rapid City. They detected aluminum, barium and chromium. What more is that the water had a "Total Dissolved Solids" measurement of 10 ppm. That is the same as double osmosis filtered water. This means the US Government is spraying "aerosolized" chemicals and polluting everything with these chemicals. I have the report from the company that did the testing, contact me for a copy. I did not vote to be poisoned. Global warming is a scam. All weather modification should be stopped immediately."

Chemtrails are as big a joke as global warming. When you just give it a little thought you will realize just how ridiculous the idea is. Next time you see a car start on a cold day and see the condensation coming out of the tail pipe, that is the same as your 'chem trail', except the engine is massively larger so make a larger condensation trail.

Allow me to explain how much bigger an aircraft engine than a car engine. A 5liter car engine is pretty big by todays standards. In cubic inch size it is a 302 cubic inch engine. The B-17 of WWII had a mid size, for the day, engine with 1820 cubic inches, six times larger than a large car engine to day. Ever seen video footage of B-17's during WWII and se e the massive amount of condensation trails they put out? And that was just a mid-size large aircraft engine. That tiny amount of common sense should end the conspiracy, but common sense is not that common when someone wants to believe in the worst. So here is some more debunking.

Every pound on an aircraft, has to recorded on a thing called a weight and balance book, every piece and its location has to be documented. Cargo is recorded separately,

In order to have a spray system you are going to need a holding tank. This tank will need mounts, grounding points, filler and vent valves, a dump valve, tubing, a pump with a motor, circuit breakers, control switches, and routing, there is a lot to it. Another problem is as you go up pressure lowers so the also has to be a pressure control system to keep the 'chemicals' from boiling and all that means weight and has to be documented, or aircraft crash. Again this is separate from cargo.

This also means that these parts have to listed in a parts break down manual somewhere so they can be fixed when they break, and mechanical things do break. Then there is the problem with crashes. Are aircraft equipped with this phantom system not allowed to crash and expose the 'chem system'?

Now lets look at the 100's of millions of witnesses that are all in agreement to keep this phantom system secret. There are corporate executives in every country that builds aircraft. Aircraft designers, assembly line workers, airport service technicians in every country of the world that would have to know what that system does. All depot level mechanics in every country with an aircraft overhaul depot has to know what they are working on. Let me say that again, in every country in the world! There are no mystery tanks or plumbing, or wiring, or controls on any aircraft ever. Then there are flight crew. Pilots have to know what every switch in that flight deck does. In an emergency there can be no mystery switches. Then there are pilots that washout of programs or get grounded for life. So add all the thousands of pilots and flight engineers into conspiracy with all of them keeping the secret, yeah right.

Now for history and here is where the numbers get really big and shows just how impossible this 'chem trail' lie is. It is not just the millions in the aircraft industry around the globe right now, plus those that moved to other jobs and retires, but all the hundreds of millions that have been in the business since 'chem trails' were first seen at McCook Army Airfield in 1924. Yes, condensation trails have been recorded since 1924 when they were experimenting with the first superchargers. What about all the condensation trails seen during WWII? Are they chems also? The whole chem trail thing is completely impossible. There is no way to keep that many millions quite about something that actually exists.

This was easier than proving the moon landing happened, yes there are flat brainers out there that still think it was faked.

When I was a child, weather modification was big news, as related in this post. Weather modification was considered an important military weapon, and the American public was subjected to those tests just like we used to not drink milk when the radiation fell from the skies due to nuclear testing. Attempts to modify the weather were made without notifying or "scaring" the public, and not all tests on modification of the weather, storms in particular, went well. You can research it.

Now weather modification rarely makes headlines, which may mean that it's taking place so often that it's considered standard procedure. This is yet another area of science where we need transparency and public education concerning exactly who and what, if anything, our government, or even private NGOs or corporations are doing in regards to modifying the weather.

The consequences of such actions are difficult to fully identify or quantify. The natural environment of our region, nation and planet is the result of an incredibly complex system of systems interlocked with many other biological and geological systems, not exclusively earthbound. Life and weather on the surface of the earth are affected by magma and magnetic cycles deep inside the earth as well as the moon's gravity and cycles of the sun's radiation. I rather doubt that anyone has a firm grasp of the potential consequences that could come from meddling in any of Nature's innumerable interconnecting elements.

When I was a child, a long time ago, we were bombarded with global warming propaganda. By the time I'd hit my late twenties, it changed to fear of an impending ice age. Decades after that it changed back to global warming, but the people who were actually paying attention to these flip-flopping ideas, and started pointing out these scientific contradictions, made the fear monger's change the two conflicting terms into global climate change. The new term, global climate change, served many purposes. It keeps the experts from looking ridiculous due to their flip-flopping, and that meant the younger generation wouldn't also see how little the experts are really experts of.

While I firmly believe that humans create entirely too much pollution, waste, and depletion of natural resources, but I also believe that we underestimate the power of our planet, our solar system, our galaxy, and our universe. I think the biggest problem with science is that the scientists usually think their right despite the fact that, most of the time, they are usually proved to be wrong. Maybe not entirely wrong, but being incorrect is still being wrong, however minute that incorrect calculation is.

I don't have any confidence in experts, and I don't think we should allow them to tinker with nature. In 1971-1972 there was a drought in South Dakota, and the experts thought it was a good idea to cloud seed. They said it would end the drought, and claimed it would produce a precipitation miracle, saving the farmers from another year of dry weather. Instead of a miracle, it produced a nightmare, and a lot of people died. I lived that nightmare, and attended many funerals in the wake of the largest flood Rapid City South Dakota had ever seen. I can remember looking out across Rapid City, and wondering what happened to Bacon Park. Where it should have been had been replaced by a vast body of water. When the water level finally subsided, it looked like something out of an apocalyptic movie, only it wasn't a movie, but it was apocalyptic, and it was the result of experts who said that they knew what they were doing.

The bottom line is that there's infinitely more that the experts don't know than the tiny amount that they do know. I don't think nature is something to be triffled with. Our planet has been doing a pretty good job taking care of itself over the last 4 billion years. It's allowed us to call it home for a small speck of that time, and we should respect it, not toy with it.

If you still think geoengineering is a myth, it’s time to look at the official records, patents, and military strategies that describe these techniques in detail.

You won’t find this on Google. But if you search “geoengineering” on DuckDuckGo, here’s what you’ll find:

• DARPA reports detailing military use of weather modification and atmospheric aerosol spraying.

• DoD research papers on ionospheric manipulation and electromagnetic weather control.

• Army War College strategy documents discussing how weather warfare can be used as a force multiplier in global conflicts.

• Declassified government documents confirming decades of weather modification experiments, including HAARP, stratospheric aerosol injections, and cloud seeding.

• US patents for “stratospheric aerosol injection,” “atmospheric spraying devices,” and “solar radiation management” techniques.

The truth is out there—you just have to be willing to see it.

Thanks for the note. Is it possible the government thought is was a necessary thing and it got out of control? That seems to be a common problem over the last 50-75 years whether it was nuclear bombs, the use of a lot of pharmaceutical drugs, etc. Perhaps people did not understand the complexity of the systems (human bodies, nuclear damage, weather implications, ...) they were working with? Not sure, but some thinking about consequences rather than just charging ahead might have made sense. About state involvement. Sometimes it is easier to unwind things that have gone haywire in small increments (states). Especially in this case where some people are talking about climate whiplash and the centralized approach seems to have failed. https://www.sierraclub.org/sierra/2023-3-fall/stress-test/solar-geoengineering-could-wreak-havoc-planet

Climate doom and gloom is nothing more than a money laundering racket. They get away with it because fools have short memories.

Weather is not out of control, this is ridiculous. First there is no way to judge a 4 million year eco system on a few hundreds years of data, flat stupid. Second I have been hearing climate change lie since the late 1960's, and we are still here.

1968 global cooling because of pollution will screen out the sun. That will make a need for more polluting power stations that will make the problem worse by making more energy to heat our homes. All would be lost in 10 years. The answer was 10's of millions for soot scrubbers inside large coal fired factories of all kinds. Size depended on how many tones of coal was used per day.

Early 1970's it changed to global warming. Same set up just change block out sun to keeping heat in. Everything would be lost in 10 years if mid sized coal burning plants did not get scrubbers.

Mid 1970's back to cooling. Now it was the fault of small coal fired plants and cars. more millions more scrubbers more millions for catalytic converters on cars.

Late 1970's back to warming and it will be to late in 10 years, more millions spent. But wait shouldn't we be dying of cold right now?

Early 1980's we went back to cooling for about a year. More millions clean up. But wait it has been 10 years we should be dying heat.

March 1980 Mt. St. Helens explodes and puts some 540 million tons of ash and pollutants into the air in a matter of hours. Lots more than humans create in five years. What nobody reported was the earth had filtered all of it out in seven years, yet we are all still here. The earth is pretty good at taking care of pollution.

Mid 1980's back to warming but now it is finally getting traction because of the fools with short memories and the propaganda press, another 10 year warning. More millions on new ways to make cars run cleaner and change over coal fired plants to natural gas. Wait what happened to the millions spent on scrubbers? What happened to the mid 1970's warnings, we should be dying for a third time now.

late 1980's same thing, more millions.

Early 1990's Al Gore publishes his doom and gloom book full of disaster, not one single prediction he made came true, not one. We should be dead four times by now, all the other predictions are a joke also. But more millions were spent to fight it.

mid 1990's ditto

Late 1990's more millions needed, early 200's more millions, mid 200's more millions . . .

The the idiotic Paris climate change thing that blamed the US for all the worlds pollution and we had to pay more taxes on their pollution than anyone. Even the real polluters like China, India, Russia, and every third world nation there is. But it is all the fault of the USA, not anyone else, just the USA.

Anyone see the patterns?

Make a scary disaster, predict the world will end in ten years so everyone forgets about it, make millions. Global warming is nothing more than a money laundering raket.

The vacillation in viewpoints is a bit crazy and it is fun to watch what happens when the government changes what it funds (people need money to keep their research labs functioning, so their viewpoints seem to shift quickly). It does seem a bit concerning that the U.S. is spending 17% of GDP on healthcare and that 80% of the water sources in South Dakota are polluted. There could be (likely are) many reasons for these issues. Talking about different possibilities seems to make sense.

You're making some of the points that I highlighted earlier. The, so called, experts have flip-flopped so many times, over the past 50+ years, that they decided to use the term 'Global Climate Change', instead 'Global Cooling', and 'Global Warming'. The people who were paying attention started calling them out when they swapped the two terms every 10-20 years, sparking fears of an impending ice age, followed by creating the fear of melting ice and rising water levels, then back to the ice age fears. It's fear mongering, and fear generates money. It's amazing how images of people, like Greta Thunberg, traveling in luxury, around the world, are rationalized as selfless commitment. Logic, alone, should show everyone that these people aren't as selfless as they claim to be. I wonder how much of the money given to people, like Thunberg, goes to feeding starving people, or providing clean drinking water in areas were water-borne disease kills millions. I'd wager that if just half of the money that these fear monger's collect went towards curing diseases, like miliaria, it would save millions of lives annually. I'm not sure how people can rationalize saving lives that can't be qualified, over lives that can.

Sorry for the delay, but I'm not feeling well. I'm glad though, because I think Tom makes some valid points. I'm not an anti-vaxer, but I never start standing in line until I can see all of the information. When that information is incomplete, and it often is, I become hesitant. I use that same philosophy with everything. I don't like conspiracy theories, in general, because they almost always lack information. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and extraordinary evidence is the information that most conspiracy theories lack. As far as weather manipulation goes, I witnessed the outcome of cloud seeding in 1972. It produced the deadliest flood in the area I've lived in for most of my life. Dubai is another example, and the list goes on, but, again, the experts will tell you that cloud seeding doesn't cause floods. I might agree with them if there wasn't so many examples. I think it boils down to something else that Tom said. The experts, aka the people in charge of science, underestimate the overwhelming access that people have, which is the Internet. That doesn't mean that people should believe everything on the Internet. You have to consume all of the information first, and then you can make a much better decision about what you think the information is telling you. Finally, it's clear that money is a motivating factor, and that applies to everything, everywhere, but it doesn't have to be what makes you believe in something. Just because a person has the money to spread their truth, doesn't mean that it should become your truth. Often times you have to turn over every single rock, even the small ones, to find all of the information you need to decide what you believe is the truth. The loudest person isn't necessarily the one that's right. I would say, from a lifetime of experience, that the loudest person is usually wrong. Right decisions can be made by doing 3 things. Reading, watching, and comparing. There are no shortcuts.

Money equals control. Tax the US into poverty with the Paris climate agreement then scare the peasants by dividing, that is to say with diversity, and controlling the narrative with censorship, both are about control. Bill Gates Foundation planned on a third part after the first two worked, de-population. De-population is something they have openly advocated for and using the twin demons of climate change and some new in-curable disease control would have been easy, or should have been. Crazy conspiracy stuff? Not hardly, grifter are making lots of money off of flat earth, anthropomorphic climate change, moon landing hoax, Big foot, loch ness, moth man and Russia interfering with US elections are the stuff of crazy people being willfully ignorant in the face of facts. This is different. These two, climate and disease scare have both had trial runs. Problem was the internet was bigger than they could completely control. We know that the FBI spied on the Trump campaign in 2016 and used agents to control speech on social platforms. Let a few people tell the truth then demonize them and the rest will fall in line. This censorship was supposed to keep people in the dark about the real meaning of that jab. Why did we need more and more boosters? Why did they call the next variant of covid strain 19A, B, C and so ? Because they already had covid marketed. Just a few more boosters and they would have had the world in the habit of taking boosters on a regular basis. Add in something else that causes death and in no time the earth is down to 500 million just like they used to post on the Gates foundation web site. The hundreds that have died because of the boosters is no accident, it was research. Too many people started to see through the smoke and mirrors because the internet was too big.

Hello Milo, good to read a clear point. Another angle is the ice core samples that were supposed to be so damming and prove carbon is going up. All those cores have proven was carbon has fluctuated for millions of years. It is not effected by what little us humans do to add to it, none. That is why the ice cores are no longer mentioned.

You are also correct when you say that the money spent was a total waste. If this was serious, then long term development of real energy sources would have been the priority, not just repackaging old stuff.

Interestingly, it seemed these whistle-blowers had little to nothing to gain, beyond exposing truths, at the cost of forced retirements, destroyed credibilties/careers, smear campaigns etc, by "shoot-the-messenger" anti-free speech activists who clearly had something to hide from the public.

We have chemtrails in Tyndall also, and they have a lot in Pierre. If you go on X many, many people have them. There has been studies where after they spray, the soil tests positive for

aluminum, barium, strontium, lithium, and other metals. People get sick after they spray.

Florida, Pennsylvania and other states have legislation to ban it.

Thank you for the information. Yes, the high altitude arial spraying appears to be a concern in many places now. Do you know if we have done any soil testing in South Dakota?

I don't know that. I have written to my congress people asking for legislation on chemtrails, flouride in our water, and banning lab meat, but I did not receive a response from either one. They are sleeping.

I think posting your concerns on blogs is an excellent way to get the word out. I am wondering if this substack might be another place to post those concerns (https://robincognito.substack.com/) since this writer is focused on the South Dakota DC representatives.

Well now I’m sure this isn’t one of the professional independent news outlets like the SD Searchlight, SD Standard or Dakota Scout picking up the slack from the AL and RCJ. This was a cavalcade of poorly researched tropes and little credible science.

For starters, your claim that global cooling had consensus in the science community is simply false, as established in serious historical studies of scientists of the period rather than episodes of “In Search of” and similar equivalents of what we’d now call click bait.

Likewise this goes on line with the usual misinformed claims in this thread that climate change in public discussion is a lefty conspiracy. Likewise this ignores the one of the first world leaders to openly call for climate and environmental policies: *Margaret Thatcher* —well before Al Gore published his book.

Quite to the contrary to global warming being a myth at worse or trendy (since 1850!) at best, the insurance industry, defence & national security apparatus, and most importantly, the fossil fuel industry have long been aware of its hazards such as the impact to our aging infrastructure, instability in weak states, our warfighters battlespace, and yes, North Sea and Gulf of Mexico oil rigs.

More still, pandering to people talking about HAARP and chemtrails (both of which have been similarly but laughably debunked), demonstrates a lack of seriousness that I’ve sadly come to expect from conspiracy followers and Dunning Kruger Online University alumni.

HAARP. It is interesting to read both sides on that issue. A lot of material has been removed from the Internet recently on the original purpose of HAARP. Having worked in Alaska, word on the streets is much different than what is available online. With all the conflicts on peer review (check out the over $1 billion 2020-2022 by pharma to people who did review -- https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/pharma-paid-1-billion-reviewers-top-medical-journals/), my approach is to read as many things as possible and then come to my own conclusion. I intentionally linked to a source that is providing content that is counter to conventional thinking.

Thank you for your concern about the quality of the "reporting". South Dakota Voices (SDV) is not a news service. The goal of the blog is to provide a platform where people can discuss complicated topics that are impacting/could impact South Dakota. Each post is written with a slant/distinct perspective to encourage discussion. This SDV writer has a background in science and has experience in the private sector, academia, and working with government agencies.

I agree there is never one viewpoint, although there always seems to be a lot of pressure to move in one direction or another. I am curious what could have happened if Project Blue Nile was taking actions that would support the cooling argument and pushed things towards warming or if the Soviets and the US were is some sort of competition that accelerated warming.
