Perhaps expanding the possible applicant pool is appropriate, but before doing that—there are just as many who want to steal from the public coffers “out there” as there are in here—one might spend some time and carefully determine if there is a problem, what that problem is, the extent of that problem, and evaluate possible roadblocks from allowing it to happen again.

Expanding the pool is a good idea, but it must be applied to the proper problem or it can have the effect of also expanding the problem, not containing it.

The Western state capitals were planned on and decided by rivers and river travel.

Pierre will remain static in growth.

From Sioux Falls it appears the large portion of the states newcomer families are construction worker immigrant families and medical-bio and bankers.

Great discussion and I hope it gets the right in it for serious discussion. I know people who’d be incredible at a few of the jobs listed above, but not to uproot from their families and leave others, etc to move to Pierre.
